Description:

 Seminar Objective - To give law enforcement officers, military personnel   and public safety officials an in-depth overview of the following:
  · Extremist ideologies prevalent in the U.S.
  · Why extremist criminals are different from regular criminals.
  · Officer safety issues particular to members of extremist groups and  movements.
  · Range of activities and tactics used by extremist groups, non-criminal to criminal.
  · Hate-based extremist movements, including neo-Nazis, racist skinheads, traditional white supremacist groups, racist prison gangs, and others.
  · Prison gangs and street gangs: differences, activities, and motivations.
  · Signs and symbols used by extremists.
  · Islamic extremism background and history.
  · Extremist activities in the U.S. and how to disrupt.
  · Interview techniques.
  · Fort Dix case study.
