PRACTICAL POLICE SKILLS and HEALTH AND FITNESS
These courses prepare the officer for the technical aspects of police work. The courses cover the operation, maintenance, use, and control of the tools of the trade; as well as the techniques needed to affect an arrest. Lectures include nutrition, fitness lifestyles, and health. A first aid course for police officers, including cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is included in this series of instruction.

PATROL PROCEDURES
A series of courses designed to familiarize students with the patrol operations in the community. Varied facets of patrol procedures, including the sensitive handling of citizen crisis situations as well as the technical aspects of the patrol function are studied.
