Patrol Academy
Idaho's POST Council requires all peace officers to complete a ten week basic academy. The strenuous curriculum focuses on the foundation of knowledge and practical skills necessary for patrol duties. Upon successful completion of this course, a student will be eligible for basic certification as a patrol officer.
