THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS HAS CHANGED.  PLEASE READ THE NEW PROCESS INFORMATION BELOW:

Tuition for this academy is $325.00.  Lunch and polo shirts will be provided to all students.  Breakfast, dinner and weekend meals will be at the expense of the student or agency.  Tuition is non-refundable and will be billed to the agency on the first day of the academy.

If you are interested in attending the Basic Dispatch Academy, you must print and submit a complete academy packet (link below) to POST.  The packet must be received by POST no later than 30 days prior to the academy start date.  Any packets received late will be reviewed for the next available Dispatch Academy.

Dorm rooms will be provided at no additional cost upon acceptance into the academy for those who request a room via their application.   Dorm rooms are limited and are double occupancy.  As with any academy, you will be sharing a room with a fellow student.

Once your packet has been received and approved, you will be notified in an acceptance letter with further direction prior to your arrival to POST.

Please direct any questions pertaining to the Dispatch Academy Packet to Carrie Merritt at (208) 884-7337 or via email at carrie.merritt@post.idaho.gov.
